Below is the tuning for IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad. The tunings include telemetry capture and averaged from the BF109, ME262, HE111, BF110, Ju87 Stuka, Spitfire, P-51 Mustang, Sopwith Camel, and many others utilized for testing. The General Tuning is intended to work with all the aircraft in IL-2 including ground vehicles.
EJECTING or LOOSING CONTROL: IL-2 will spike in telemetry when ejecting or loosing control of the aircraft. Motion might be jarring during these events. To reduce overall movement, decrease the Power/Max Angle slider.
NOTE WHEN LOADING AN AIRCRAFT: When loading initially into an aircraft, there can be telemetry spikes in surge and sway that will cause jarring movement in the motion platform.
INDIVIDUAL PLANE TUNINGS: IL-2 does not provide data on which plane is being utilized; thus, individual plane tunings are not available.
NO WIND OR RPM: There is no telemetry data for airspeed or RPM; thus, there will no data for Wind/Fan kits or vibrations for Shakers/Transducers.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR H6/P6 USERS: It is recommended to disable Enhanced G-Forces at the bottom of the Motion Tuning page. This will ensure you feel Sway and Surge effects; however, the effect only lasts during the range of motion of the platform. If you want to have a sustained feeling for Surge or Sway, turn Enhanced G-Forces ON and the platform will utilize only Pitch and Roll for those g-forces. This option only appears for these 6-axis platforms.
