Many of you requested enhancements for flight games that allow the platform to self level after you release the Yoke and Pitch.
We have implemented this feature in V49 for all the flight games that support it. Check our change log for all the games supported.
If you select Angle, the platform will follow the Angle of the plane.
If you select Rate, the platform will be returning to level after you release the yoke.
Note that you must tune as each game and plane have different rates of self leveling that they send us. Some of them are smooth, some are more abrupt
Lower all sliders (roll, pitch, yaw, etc) to 0. Increase 1 by 1 to Find the effect causing this behavior and use the tuning tips to lower that effect
Make sure also reaction speed is lowered, smoothing max and boost also lowered.
In summary, find the effect causing the root cause and try to fix it or at least let us know which one so we can investigate
Hey, regarding DCS shaking violently, it would do this to me as well on any runway in the FA/18 Hornet (only plane I fly). I noticed that taking the Sway all the way down to zero stops the shaking and the flight take off and landing is so much more enjoyable now. Hope this helps anyone else with DCS issues.
Would it be possible to set up "rate" setting for longitudinal surge. Surge works awesome for throttle adjustment in DCS, but if I have the throttle moved forward and am accelerating, the seat stays leaned back on my H3, so if I also pitch up there is no movement because i am already at the end of the range. Would be great if the surge reset to center slowly after initial accel or decel.
We will check if there is a way to identify you are on a catapult and lower the effects if feasible in a future release
Hello!Have anyone try DCS and launch from catapult? When the plane is being connected to catapult, the platform start to shake violently and is not nice to be seating in it! Any suggestions about that behavior?
